In the context of the creation of a new sector in the Network department, we are recruiting a:Head of Network Development Sector 80-100%Your missionIn this role, you are responsible for steering and managing the development of the Valais high-voltage (HV) network. You ensure the management of the assets of this network, the responsibility for the processing of connections in the high-voltage field as well as regulatory aspects. Integrated within the Networks department, you guarantee the management and development of the sector. In this capacity, you resolutely orient the sector towards network development and the project portfolio. You plan and develop the necessary resources, specifically encourage the development of employee skills – particularly in the field of Asset Management –, actively participate in the management of the Networks department, and directly support the head of the department. You ensure close collaboration with various partners such as Swissgrid, Valgrid, distribution network operators, producers, industrial partners, clients, as well as authorities. You steer the development of the high-voltage network with a focus on security of supply as well as on the capacities necessary for the long term. Your responsibilities include conducting studies related to network development, monitoring connection requests, as well as managing connection and network contracts. Furthermore, you are responsible for managing relationships in connection with simple partnerships for key assets.Your profile- EPF / HES engineering degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, ideally with an EMBA- At least 5-7 years of experience in the development and asset management of electrical networks- Confirmed experience in team management- Experience in the field of HV networks, an asset in managing multidisciplinary HV projects- Very good communication and leadership skills and a sense of responsibility- Sense of initiative and proactivity, sense of reliability and flexibility- French or German language with a very good command of the other language (C1 level), very good command of English (C1 level) also requiredWhy join us?A multidisciplinary, open, and dynamic team looks forward to working with you.
