The Information Systems Department (DSI) wishes to strengthen its infrastructure team and is looking for a network and security expert.Network and Security Expert at the Information Systems Department:The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and the EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and training.The Information Systems Department (DSI) is organized according to standard information technology processes. It includes the following groups: Projects, Infrastructure, and Services. This position is attached to the Network, Telecom and Security team.The CHUV has a vast, highly redundant network to provide a highly available foundation for the hospital's information system. To guarantee the availability of machines and offer a high level of security, the network has a NAC solution and is segmented into several zones by firewalls. Applications are exposed through a WAF, and CHUV employees benefit from VPN access to join the institution when traveling or working remotely.Mission:- You will join a multidisciplinary infrastructure team to manage daily operations on Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls and UBIKA WAF (adding/removing rules/services, managing security events, monitoring, troubleshooting).- You are also responsible for maintaining, operating, and evolving the VPN environment based on Ivanti and Palo Alto, as well as the NAC environment based on Cisco ISE.- You will assume maintenance and evolution activities for security equipment in collaboration with the security team.- You are the recognized interface for external experts and provide advice, assistance, support, and expertise.Profile:- You hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or an equivalent qualification.- You demonstrate solid expertise in managing firewalls (WAF, NGFW) and/or VPN solutions, with at least 6 years of experience as a network and security engineer in a medium or large environment.- You have experience with NAC solutions and are motivated to develop your expertise across all subjects.- You are comfortable with oral and written expression in French and possess good knowledge of technical English (spoken and written).- You demonstrate great open-mindedness in order to adapt to the different constraints of a university hospital such as the CHUV.- Fortinet FCP, Palo Alto NSP, or Cisco CCNP Security certifications are desired.- The salary class will be between levels 11 and 12 depending on the candidate's profile.We offer:Becoming a member of the Lausanne University Hospital means ensuring you benefit from:- First-rate social benefits, 20 weeks of maternity leave, and 4 months of paternity leave (with the possibility of an additional month of breastfeeding leave).- Regular salary progression adapted to responsibilities.- A 13th-month salary.- 25 days of vacation per year.- A right to three days of training minimum per year.- Access to a varied offer within the CHUV Training Center and partner centers in the Canton of Vaud.- Facilitated access to one of the 500 furnished apartments offered in the surrounding neighborhoods for people moving to Switzerland from abroad.- Social, cultural, and economic benefits offered to members of H-Oxygène.- Benefits offered within the framework of the mobility plan (discounts on public transport subscriptions, promotion of Mobility vehicles, and discounts on electric bikes).- Hotel-quality company restaurants in each of the hospital buildings with preferential rates.Contact for information on the position: Team leader, network and telecom. jide9973a4aen jit0518aen jpiy26aen
