Energy DepartmentUnit Manager Studies and Multi-fluids at %The Energy Department guarantees the distribution of electricity, gas, and drinking water in Yverdon-les-Bains, as well as in many neighboring villages, while ensuring the management of the public lighting network. Inspired by the Plan, it places sustainable development at the center of its projects and is committed to promoting energy efficiency and renewable energies, actively contributing to the energy transition of the entire region. To strengthen its distribution networks department, the Energy Department is looking for a:Unit Manager Studies and Multi-fluids at %Your main missions and responsibilities:- Ensure the management of the unit's activities.- Lead, coordinate, and guarantee the proper execution of studies and projects related to multi-fluid distribution networks: water, gas, electricity, public lighting, fiber optics, as well as structures.- Ensure the monitoring and compliance with investment notices, budgets, and technical, safety, and regulatory rules (SIA, VSS) related to the unit.- Ensure the proper execution of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, the production of plans and structure diagrams, as well as their transmission to the GIS.- Ensure the link between the asset management process and operational processes in collaboration with the asset manager for the selection and prioritization of projects in the annual roadmap.- Participate in the preparation of public procurement tenders (AOMP) and ensure the monitoring of subcontracting and partners.- Coordinate the unit's activities with other units of the department, the City, and subsidiary companies (YCAD, SAGENORD), as well as with external partners (engineering firms, companies, DSOs).- Ensure technical, regulatory, and legal monitoring, including technological developments (BIM, etc.).- Ensure management standby duty.Profile:- You hold a HES or EPF engineering degree in civil engineering, or equivalent training deemed equivalent.- You justify additional training in project management and team management.- You benefit from confirmed experience of at least 5 years in personnel management and construction project management.- You possess good knowledge of distribution networks (water, gas, electricity, heat) as well as SIA and VSS, SVGW, AEAI standards.- You master standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and business software such as GIS.- Good knowledge of English is requested; notions of German constitute an asset.- You hold a category B driving license and demonstrate availability and flexibility in your schedule.What we expect from you:- Your autonomy, efficiency, and team spirit allow you to achieve the set objectives.- Your communication skills allow you to present and defend your solutions to the various stakeholders.- Intellectual curiosity and marked interest in technical and energy systems, particularly distribution networks.- Sensitivity to public service and its values.What we offer you:- The possibility to lead a varied and strategic portfolio of projects for the energy transition of the territory, with a high level of autonomy.- A position of responsibility allowing you to leave your mark on the multi-fluid development of distribution networks and its infrastructures.- Work within a team of motivated specialists, in a field in full evolution.- Work within a city actively engaged in the energy and digital transition.- Close collaboration with internal teams, engineering firms, partner companies, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.For any further information, you can contact the Director of the Distribution Networks department.In case of interest, we invite you to send us your complete application via the City of Yverdon-les-Bains website.
