Job Description

• Provide comprehensive care for the patient and her baby(ies) to foster the mother-child relationship.
• Maintain clinical reasoning to optimise the quality of care and patient safety during prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal periods.
• Apply hygiene rules and protocols to prevent infection.
• Adopt a clinical and tailored approach to the patient’s and/or her baby(ies)’ pain.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anaesthetists, and paediatricians.
• Participate in the supervision and evaluation of trainees.
• Ensure compliance with current processes.
• Adhere to institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Midwife diploma.
• Diploma(s) registered or recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
• Definitive or ongoing practice rights in the canton of Geneva.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in maternity care preferred.
