Serving the people of Valais since 2001, ZIMMERMANN & FILS SA in Chalais is a company specialised in metal construction and locksmithing, metal joinery, as well as Normstahl brand garage doors. Certified EN1090, our family business, led by Grégoire and Olivier Zimmermann, employs around twenty staff, including ten in production and three apprentices. We undertake varied and customised projects, ranging from stainless steel barriers to bespoke staircases, as well as metal frameworks and automated gates. Thanks to our expertise and state-of-the-art equipment, we are also recognised specialists in fire and smoke protection systems from the profile supplier FORSTER. Your responsibilities

• Manufacture and assembly of metal structures according to technical plans.
• Installation and on-site assembly of metal elements.
• Work on varied projects: staircases, barriers, gates, metal frameworks, etc.
• Compliance with current quality and safety standards.
• Collaboration with other team members to ensure project success.

Your profile

• Training in metal construction or equivalent experience in the field.
• Proficiency in reading technical plans.
• Skills in welding and assembling metal structures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Rigour, precision and attention to detail.
• Driving licence is an advantage.
