With 40 employees spread between Switzerland and our subsidiary in Romania, we support demanding international clients in the construction, industry, food and pharmaceutical sectors.

In Yverdon-les-Bains, you will join a close-knit team of 3 project managers, working directly with our site manager and management. This proximity ensures smooth communication and true coherence between design and on-site execution.

We mainly work on projects related to:

Metal structures and frameworksTechnical platforms and mechanosoldered equipmentIndustrial installations (silos, piping, production lines)Custom metal architectural elementsBuilding façades and envelopesAluminium joinery (doors, windows, glazed partitions, verandas)

Your role

Integrated into the design office, you are the main technical reference for our metal construction and industrial structure projects. You handle the production of technical drawings in this environment, from design to manufacturing files, while applying your building knowledge when projects require interfaces with structural work or envelopes.

You provide daily support to project managers, present in the office and able to intervene on site for measurements or technical verifications.

Your main responsibilities

• Creation of 2D/3D drawings: metal structures and frameworks, technical platforms, stairs, guardrails, mechanosoldered equipment and industrial installations
• 3D modelling and preparation of detail drawings, assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOM) and workshop documents
• Definition of assemblies (bolted, welded) and construction details in compliance with standards
• Integration of constraints related to assembly, handling and interfaces with the building
• Updating drawings according to project developments and site feedback
• Site visits for measurements and technical follow-up
• Daily support for project managers throughout the business lifecycle
• Participation in technical reviews and continuous improvement of methods
• Compliance with applicable standards (steel Eurocodes, tolerances, metal construction and industry standards)

Profile sought:

• We are looking for a specialist in metal construction, with a solid technical background and able to understand interfaces with the building sector.
• Technical training in metal construction, boilermaking, locksmithing, mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in drafting in the metal construction sector, ideally on: frameworks, structures, platforms, mechanosoldered equipment or industrial installations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Inventor
• Knowledge of other CAD tools (2D/3D) is an asset
• Basic building knowledge (joinery, façades, envelopes) is a real advantage for understanding interfaces
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
• Good understanding of metal assemblies and workshop constraints
• Versatility and adaptability to a varied technical environmentAbility to work closely with the field (site)

What we offer you:

• Salary from CHF 5,500 gross/month, adapted to your experience
• 13th salary paid monthly
• Permanent contract (CDI)

• Flexible hours: arrival between 8:00 and 8:30, end of day from 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 16:00 on Friday
