To learn more about our institution, take a few minutes to discover the highlights and key figures of the year.The Department of Medicine is composed of 14 medico-nursing entities (12 medical services, 1 Unit for Brief Treatments (UITB), and the Blood Transfusion Center (CTS)), notably including the particularity of counting among its technical platforms (including interventional cardiology and digestive and pulmonary endoscopy), several specialized treatment and care units (biological treatments, photopheresis, and internal medicine care), 1 hospital dialysis center, and 3 emergency and outpatient programs. Furthermore, the medico-nursing activity is strongly dedicated to acute care and hospitalization (9 care units, 160 beds) with internal consultants benefiting from the support of other medical departments.Medical Secretaries for the Department of Medicine - 60% to 100%You will intervene within the framework of short to medium-term replacement missions within different medical services. This position is aimed at people who appreciate the diversity of work environments, the pace, and the ability to adapt quickly to new professional contexts. The main challenge of this function lies in the variety of activities and the limited duration of the missions, which requires an excellent capacity for learning, analysis, and adaptation.Thanks to your ease of contact, you ensure the reception, orientation, and information of patients and visitors presenting themselves in the service, while effectively managing incoming telephone calls. You actively participate in medical consultations by managing the doctors' electronic agendas and preparing patient files. Following consultations, you ensure the transcription of medical reports autonomously, quickly, and rigorously and, when necessary, you schedule complementary medical examinations.Additionally, you take charge of all activities related to the operation of the secretariat. This includes, in particular, the follow-up of patient files, the management of mail and electronic messaging, schedules, as well as, if necessary, the organization of congresses or events for the medical staff. You demonstrate proactivity in the accomplishment of logistical tasks inherent to the life of a service, such as orders, fee notes, and billing.Within the teams, you develop working relationships based on collaboration and trust with other medical secretaries and medical staff. You contribute to ensuring the continuity of service during absences and accept to evolve within shared offices. More broadly, your sense of service and your agility allow you to put your versatility to the benefit of the institution and to intervene in different services according to needs.Endowed with a good sense of organization and effective management of priorities, you are recognized for your autonomy, your rigor, and your precision in the execution of the tasks entrusted to you. You also know how to face unforeseen events with composure and manage stressful situations effectively.You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee and a diploma as a medical secretary, or any other equivalent qualification. You hold the advanced ECDL for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and/or Web, and you possess very good knowledge of the software in force at the HUG (DPA, DPI, OPALE, GRECO, Winscribe, and Requête Labo).You have several years of experience in a medical secretariat position, ideally in a hospital setting. You have a perfect command of French, both oral and written, and a proven ability to write. Medical terminology is easily understandable to you.
