The Translait group, composed of the companies Translait, Univo and Milco, is active in the fields of transport, processing and valorisation of milk and dairy by-products, as well as in calf feeding.

To strengthen our maintenance team dedicated to heavy vehicles, we are looking for a

Mechatronics Technician 100%

Responsible for collaborating with a small team aiming to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles consisting of around fifty tanker trucks.

Your tasks:

  • Coordination of mechanical work and replacement of the workshop manager in case of absence
  • Mechanical and electrical interventions on vehicles:
  • Chassis-tanker (superstructure)
  • Specific pumping system equipping certain tankers
  • Specific equipment of our trade
  • Preparation, management and presentation of expert reports
  • Organisation and planning of outsourced work
  • Analysis and diagnosis of breakdowns (preliminary sorting)
  • Management of breakdowns and coordination of handling with internal and external partners
  • Maintenance of the work environment and its equipment
  • Stock management and ordering of common parts
  • Participation in the on-call service
  • Participation in various projects on our vehicles
  • Participation in the development of the workshop, its procedures and available resources

Your profile:

  • Basic training as a heavy vehicle mechatronics technician, agricultural machinery or equivalent
  • Good skills in electricity
  • Category C(E) driving licence or willing to obtain it very quickly
  • High flexibility in working hours
  • Organisational skills and able to work independently
  • Good interpersonal skills and negotiation abilities
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ideally skills in locksmithing/steel and stainless steel metal construction
  • Good methodology and ability to take initiative
  • Fluency in German would be an asset
