Mechanical Technician / Engineer (100%)About the companySME with around forty employees, we develop, manufacture, and market watchmaking measuring instruments and technical equipment for demanding industrial clients. Our activity covers the entire product life cycle, from design to maintenance, including testing, commissioning, and support.MissionWithin our technical team, you will participate in the mechanical development of new products as well as the evolution of our existing equipment. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment combining mechanics, electronics, software, and production.Main responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.- Carry out feasibility studies, simple calculations, and technical choices.- Establish 3D models and manufacturing drawings.- Participate in the development of prototypes and testing phases.- Provide technical monitoring with suppliers and subcontractors.- Participate in the industrialization of new products.- Provide technical support to production and after-sales service.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and equipment.Profile- Degree in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, or industrial product design.- Or HES/EPF engineer in mechanics, or equivalent.Experience- First successful experience in product development or mechanical construction.- Experience in measuring instruments, special machines, microtechnology, or industrial equipment is an asset.Technical skills- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor ideally).- Knowledge of mechanical processes (machining, sheet metal work, plastic injection, assembly).- Understanding of tolerances, dimension chains, and manufacturing methods.- Knowledge of project management and technical documentation.- Knowledge of automation or electronics appreciated.Personal skills- Analytical mind and solution-oriented.- Autonomy and sense of responsibility.- Technical curiosity and desire to learn.- Ability to work in an agile structure where everyone contributes to several projects.- Team spirit and ease in exchanges with different departments.We offer- Strong autonomy and varied responsibilities.- Concrete technical projects and a human-sized team with short decision-making circuits.- An environment where ideas can quickly be implemented.- Possibilities for development based on your skills and interests. jid1c504abaen jit0626aen jpiy26aen
