### **Candidate Profile** ###

* Master-s degree or equivalent in Finance or Quantitative discipline.
* Strong programming skills (Python/VBA/SQL-) and visualization frameworks (PBI-).
* You have minimum 2 years of experience in a role where you have been exposed to energy markets and commodity trading. 
* You have a comprehensive understanding of risk management methodologies (commodities/FX) and valuation models. 
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High levels of numeracy and computer literacy.
* High degree of accuracy and efficiency under set deadlines.
* High levels of flexibility with regards working hours.
* Good interpersonal skills. 
* Fluent in English.

* The Market Risk Analyst is part of the Middle Office team in the Trading Support team involving Houston, Geneva, and Singapore.
* The Market Risk Analyst works closely with Front Office, Operations, Back Office, Finance, Compliance, and Trading System teams. The team works across locations and product types including natural gas, LNG, power, emissions, and dry bulk products.
* The Middle Office team is responsible for calculating profits and losses and for monitoring the risks of the trading department. It is responsible for all aspects of market risk control, such as risk identification, measurement, monitoring and disclosure across various classes of energy commodity assets.
* The Top Management of Gas branch follows and controls the trading activity through the Middle Office reports.
