Through forward-looking reflection, we create and transmit knowledge useful to the world of today and tomorrow - with seriousness, boldness, and flexibility.Lecturer in Vegetable ProductionYour fields of activity with us- Develop the content of our new study program Special crops with a focus on vegetable production and implement it starting from the autumn semester- Teach central elements of the curriculum as well as certain courses at the master's level- Design, organize, and competently supervise bachelor's and master's theses- Set up and develop your own activities in the field of research and development through the acquisition of third-party funds- Build and actively maintain a solid network within the sector and in researchYour background, ideally- University degree, ETH or University of Applied Sciences in plant sciences, desired- Strong personal commitment, sense of responsibility, team spirit, and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary manner- Several years of professional experience in vegetable production outside the academic world, established network within the profession, research, and public authorities, and long-standing experience in applied research- Ideally, experience in higher education and the tasks associated with it- German or French with good knowledge of the other languageSome of our advantagesWe conduct research activities in close cooperation with the industry.
