Reporting to the Cartier Head of Products and Supply Chain Controller, this role will contribute to the overall Finance function by managing the financial performance of specific product lines (Jewelry, High-Jewelry and Watches) and Customer Service activities. Your role will consist in supporting and challenging our business partners (Manufacturing, Marketing, Commercial and Supply Chain) to drive performance, meet financial objectives and ensure Cartier strategy alignment. You will be integrated in several transversal projects.
**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**
**Controlling of Watches, Jewelry and High-Jewelry activities**
* Monthly reporting:
* Review monthly financial reporting and analysis with our Manufactures
* Follow-up product lines financial activity in collaboration with our business partners via specific analyses, KPIs and dashboards (sales, margins, coefficients, discounts, inventory-)
* Contribute to the P&L breakdown per product lines
* Budgets and forecasts:
* Supervise and ensure accurate and timely financial budgets and forecasts for our Manufactures
* Contribute to the Cartier margin and Opex budgets and forecasts
* Elaborate Strategic Plan financials in collaboration with Commercial and Marketing teams
* Activity follow-up and business partner missions:
* Develop automatized and shared tools to provide financial insights and support the business
* Perform detailed financial analyses to identify risks and opportunities impacting the business
* Collaborate closely with our stakeholders for the daily follow-up of their initiatives
* Participate and facilitate effective Finance decisions in operational monthly committees
* Review and validate Manufacturing investment requests and any other return on investment on specific ad-hoc projects
**Customer Service controlling**
* Reporting:
* Elaborate P&L and monitor the financial performance of Customer Service activities
* Budgets and reforecasts:
* Review budget and forecasts for the Manufacture Customer Service activities
* Coordinate with Group and internal stakeholders the Customer Service budget process
* Elaborate the financial part of strategic plans
* Activity follow-up and business partner missions:
* Develop automatized and shared tools to provide financial insights and support the business
* Participate and facilitate effective Finance decisions in operational monthly committees
* Calculate return on investments on specific projects, perform detailed financial analyses to identify risks and opportunities and help in prioritizing initiatives
**Other responsibilities**
* Remain adaptable to evolving needs within Finance, including additional ad-hoc requests, to support the finance team-s overall efficiency and effectiveness
* Actively pursue opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance tools and reporting needs for increased efficiency and accuracy, such as the implementation of Power BI reports
* Promote financial discipline, internal control, compliance and ESG culture across the Maison in respect of Company Policies and IFRS/IAS Standards
**PROFILE**
* Master-s degree in finance with at least 7 years- experience in audit and/or manufacturing controlling
* Outstanding written and oral communication skills and ability to develop a close relationship with business partners to better understand and influence business drivers through regular meetings
* Proactive in bringing ideas and anticipating internal and external business issues that may impact the organization
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to put it into context of financial reporting needs
* Solid understanding of Management Accounting in the context of IFRS
* Business sense and synthesis skills, particularly in complex business situations and environments
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling. The knowledge of tools like SAP, Power BI, Anaplan, Looker- would be an advantage
* Team player with the highest integrity and commitment to the business
* Fluent in French and English
* Ability to travel to Paris or within Switzerland once a month for a few days
