Company responsible for operating the network, Swissgas owns its own high-pressure pipelines of national importance. Alongside its core competencies, which are the commercial operation of the network and gas transportation, it advocates the interests of operators of high-pressure natural gas installations at the international level. Swissgas makes a significant contribution to Switzerland’s supply of natural gas and, increasingly, biogas as well as synthetic gases and other climate-neutral gases.

Manager (M/F) Transport Management

Your main responsibilities

Leading the Transport Management business sector, member of the management teamCommercial and operational management of contracts within the Transitgas systemMarketing of transport capacities for the Swiss market area (including management of the Coordination Office for network access) and transitsOperational handling of gas transports, including management of Swissgas dispatching and on-call serviceBalance managementResponsibility for security of supply in transportMattersRepresentation of Swissgas and participation in national and European bodiesCollaboration with regional high-pressure network operators and Swiss authorities

Your professional profile

• Experience in gas trading, for example with an infrastructure manager, a regional supplier, an integrated energy supplier, a gas supplier or trader
• Experience in the commercial operation of a network (network usage contracts, network usage fees and balancing zone management)
• Regulatory expertise: excellent knowledge of cross-border transport concepts, capacity bookings and security of supply
• Experience in leadership
• Experience in transforming a business model
