Maintenance TechnicianThe love of Swiss chocolate for 125 years in Fribourg. Founded by Wilhelm X, our company is still present in Fribourg. Here, we make our famous Chocolate Heads, liqueur chocolates, and also various types of milk chocolates. To support the different teams, we are looking for a Technician.Global Responsibilities of the PositionEnsure the proper functioning of production lines and more generally the various technical aspects of the company. Participate in the implementation of new processes for the optimal operation of the company in a designated area by regular preventive maintenance and inspections and adjustments on the line. Help ensure smooth communication with customer service. Ensure transmission between each member of the maintenance team and with the teams to update the machines following established rules. Fill out different recording documents according to established regulations. Apply and enforce safety and hygiene guidelines during interventions. Inform production staff (or responsible person) after an intervention. Detect, identify, and alert in case of potential risks from foreign bodies or chemicals before or during an intervention. Alert as soon as an anomaly appears to guarantee safety based on fault analysis and establish a maintenance plan for all equipment in the sectors under their responsibility. Participate in studies and implementation of new equipment and propose improvements for practices or procedures, including in the area of personnel safety and food safety. Apply and enforce hygiene and safety rules for themselves, their colleagues, and external individuals according to established regulations. This position is in 2x8 shifts (either 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.), with on-call duty on weekends approximately once a month and sometimes 3x8 shifts.Experience and SkillsIdeally, 5-10 years of experience in a similar position.
