Purpose of the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of production equipment through effective maintenance planning, spare parts management, and coordination of internal and external stakeholders. The position contributes to smooth plant operations by supporting maintenance activities, procurement processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities for production equipment.
• Organize annual maintenance programs in close collaboration with production teams.
• Procure, request, and replenish spare parts while managing costs within the approved budget.
• Support the procurement and implementation of new equipment and technical investments.
• Coordinate and oversee external service providers performing planned and unplanned maintenance work.
• Conduct incoming goods inspections and analyze spare parts to ensure quality and availability.
• Actively contribute to technical and operational improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and monitor adherence to safety standards by external contractors.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education or vocational training in a relevant field.
• Fluent German language skills are required.
• English language skills are nice to have.
• Experience with machine components, spare parts management, and maintenance operations.
• Experience with administrative tasks within a maintenance environment.
• Basic knowledge of procurement and supplier management.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences and organizational levels.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and organized working style with a strong team-oriented mindset.
