We will achieve this togetherMaintenance Officer - Electricity ProductionWe will achieve this togetherWithin the Energy and Industrial Ecology Department, the Electricity Production Activity is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a stable or growing share of clean production in the electricity supply for regulated customers. It manages hydroelectric facilities, their maintenance, and the development of projects. Within the Electricity Production activity, the Operations and Power Plants unit manages the 4 hydroelectric facilities (Seujet, Verbois, Chancy-Pougny, Vessy) thanks to teams distributed across the Verbois and Chancy-Pougny sites;Real-time operation of these 4 facilities through the control room;Continuous operation 24/7, 365 days a year;Local and renewable electricity production corresponding to nearly 30% of the annual consumption of the canton of Geneva.Energy at the service of a sustainable GenevaAs a Maintenance Officer - Electricity Production, you will be responsible for:Participating in routine equipment maintenance;Contributing to planned equipment maintenance operations;Providing welding, hydraulic maintenance, and mechanical support;Contributing to the maintenance of buildings and outdoor areas.Your personality and skillsYou demonstrate autonomy and enjoy teamwork. Your stress resistance and ability to learn allow you to evolve in a technical environment. You possess skills in general mechanics, power hydraulics, and basic electricity, plumbing, as well as welding techniques.Academic backgroundYou hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in mechanics, agricultural mechanics, or an equivalent diploma.This position requires a category B driving license. After internal training, participation in the on-call service is required.
