Your tasks

The setter carries out adjustment work on specific installations and/or machines to ensure the production of products. He or she is responsible for correcting and controlling manufacturing processes. He or she guarantees manufacturing quality, respect for deadlines, and productivity. He or she may be required to work in several sectors.

Production

• Adjust one or more machines
• Monitor production (start-up, follow-up, supply)
• Manage first-level maintenance
• Intervene in case of "simple" breakdowns
• Contact the maintenance service in case of breakdown
• Complete production monitoring documents within the complex and collaborate closely with the system
• Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation
• Load & unload machines
• Propose solutions to improve Quality, Cost, and Deadline performance

Quality & Control

• Correct any deviations in the manufacturing process
• Carry out part inspections according to instructions and/or documents
• Clean and maintain machines
• Ensure the proper functioning of tooling from start to end of the series.

Hygiene & Safety

• Respect, know, and apply hygiene and safety rules
• Apply the safety charter.

Communication & Training

• Participate in continuous improvement (CIC, working group)
• Collaborate with operators
• Communicate all issues to their hierarchical superior
• Support their superior and the company in internal training.

Basic and ongoing training

• Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) in a mechanical trade or equivalent training
• Experience in machine settings desired
• Mastery of conventional control devices
• Reading technical drawings
• Basic computer knowledge (data entry).

Start date: immediately

Contract type: Maximum Duration Contract (MDC) 1 year potentially renewable

Working hours: 2x8 shift

Workplace: Vallorbe
