Logistics Employee - Setter (M/F/D) 100%



Your tasks

As an employee in the logistics sector, he or she ensures the reception, storage, dispatch of products, invoicing and shipment of these in compliance with procedures.

He or she performs adjustment work on specific machines, applies the engraving of the commercial brand corresponding to the product, according to the instructions and plans indicated on the order forms and the packaging of the products. He or she is responsible for the finished product and guarantees the quality of packaging, respect of deadlines and productivity.

Logistics (approximately 60% of activity)

  • Receive, check and store products,
  • Prepare orders and shipments,
  • Enter and query the stock management IT system,
  • Enter invoicing,
  • Use stock management software,
  • Carry out inventory,
  • Load and unload trucks,
  • Participate in sector improvement initiatives (optimisation of stocks and goods flows).

Production (approximately 40% of activity)

  • Adjust one or more machines,
  • Monitor production (launch, follow-up, supply),
  • Manage first-level maintenance,
  • Intervene in case of "simple" breakdowns,
  • Complete production monitoring documents,
  • Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation,
  • Load and unload machines,
  • Propose performance improvement solutions (quality, costs, deadlines).

Communication & training

  • Participate in continuous improvement (CIC, working groups, projects),
  • Collaborate with production teams and support services,
  • Communicate all issues to his/her hierarchical superior,
  • Support his/her hierarchical superior and the company in the field of internal training.

Basic and ongoing training

  • Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as automated machine operator, AFP in logistics or equivalent training,
  • Knowledge of the logistics sector and a production line,
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial environment, metallurgical sector an asset,
  • Knowledge of common IT tools and an ERP, Infor XA an asset,
  • Holder of forklift licence and SUVA accreditations,
  • Native French speaker with B2 level in English, any other languages are an asset.

Start date: immediately or to be agreed

Contract type: Maximum Duration Contract (MDC) 1 year potentially renewable

Working hours: 2x8 shift

Workplace: Vallorbe
