To learn more about our institution, take a few minutes to consult our retrospective.The clinical neurosciences department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, with neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological, and otorhinolaryngological conditions. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to rehabilitation sectors. The mission of the department is to lead the patient towards the restoration of their autonomy through teaching, support, and follow-up. It ensures the coordination of care, such as their accompaniment, in order to promote an early return home. With the same objective, outpatient care is also prioritized and activity optimized, to facilitate accessibility to care within a reasonable timeframe.Functionally, you collaborate with the physiotherapy teams of different departments present at Beau-Séjour.Swimming Pool Lifeguard at Beau Séjour – 80% to 100%As part of your role, you ensure the surveillance of the Beau-Séjour pool and its users, welcoming a diverse clientele daily. You ensure compliance with hygiene and safety rules and internal regulations and actively participate in accident prevention. You intervene in the event of an incident or accident in accordance with current procedures, particularly in terms of rescue, first aid, cardiac massage, and the use of a defibrillator. You welcome, inform, and supervise users, adopt appropriate behavior when dealing with a clientele with varied profiles, and are able to defuse tense or conflictual situations. You communicate with kindness by establishing a climate of trust. You ensure the proper functioning of the facilities, technical control and intervention according to defined protocols, water quality control, and the order and cleanliness of the premises (cleaning of changing rooms and other areas). You report any anomalies and ensure the transmission of necessary information to the hierarchy.This position requires rigor, a keen sense of responsibility, good physical condition, and an ability to manage stress. You hold at least a Pool Plus certificate and a valid BLS AED (Swiss Lifesaving Society or equivalent) which you commit to renewing every two years, and a complementary certificate in aquatic activities. Professional experience in a lifeguard or equivalent role is an asset.
