Junior Legal CounselThe Junior Banking Legal Counsel supports the Legal Department by providing legal advice and working within the team. This role offers broad exposure to Swiss banking law, regulatory developments, and projects within a dynamic banking environment.A well-established Swiss banking institution.Key responsibilities:- Provide legal advice on Swiss banking, financial services, and AML regulations.- Work closely with business and control functions, draft and review a wide range of contractual documents including client agreements, outsourcing, IT, vendor contracts, and confidentiality agreements.- Handle requests from regulatory authorities, and support suspicious activity reporting (SAR/MROS filings), and regulatory enquiries.- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assist with the implementation of new requirements, policies and procedures.- Support sanctions, cross-border activities and legal projects.Successful profile:- Master s degree in Swiss Law; Swiss Bar admission is a plus.- Understanding of Swiss banking and financial regulations and the regulatory environment of financial institutions.- Fluent in French and English; German and/or Italian would be an asset.- Analytical, precise and detail-oriented professional with excellent judgement and communication skills.- Proactive and solutions-oriented professional who enjoys working cross-functionally.Job Offer:- Develop deep expertise in Swiss banking and financial law through involvement in complex contractual and cross-border projects within a team. jid74be76daen jit0832aen jpiy26aen
