Job Description
As a member of the Swatch Group legal department, you handle the legal affairs of some of our brand companies and Group subsidiaries abroad. In this position, you provide daily advice to various company departments, from production and marketing to sales, after-sales service, human resources, procurement, finance, and IT on a wide range of legal matters. You contribute to executing major international projects, whether it be the introduction of new products, the development of online sales, or new IT solutions.
You advise and support our brand companies and Group subsidiaries abroad on matters related to their distribution network, including from a competition law perspective, and prepare the related contracts. You review intellectual property law issues related to watch design and advertising campaigns and draft various contracts. You handle labour law matters and negotiate lease agreements for boutiques in Switzerland. You manage any legal proceedings yourself or in collaboration with external lawyers. You ensure compliance with Group guidelines in the various business areas. Finally, you liaise with your colleagues from Group subsidiaries abroad to coordinate the legal aspects of major projects.
In general, you use your excellent legal knowledge and experience to effectively review, analyse, draft, and negotiate contracts across a wide range of legal fields, independently develop solution proposals, and correctly assess the legal and economic consequences.
You play an important role within a team of motivated and talented lawyers.
Profile
You have a thorough knowledge of Swiss law and hold a lawyer’s licence or an equivalent qualification, with several years of professional experience in a company or a commercial law firm.
Required Skills
You are familiar with large-scale international commercial projects and feel comfortable negotiating complex contracts with international counterparts.
Languages
Native French or German speaker with very good knowledge of the other language, you are accustomed to working in French, English, and German.
