You will join our legal department as Legal Counsel (m/f) (100%) to support our brand Tissot with a focus on commercial law.Your RoleAs a member of the legal department of the Group, you will manage the legal matters of the well-known brand Tissot. In this position, you will interact daily with various departments of the company, from marketing to sales, logistics, customer service, finance, and human resources, handling a wide range of legal issues. You will contribute to major projects at the company level, including the launch of new products such as Tissot Connect, the development of online sales, or new IT solutions, and support our brand Tissot in distribution matters, including from a competition law perspective, and prepare the corresponding contracts. You will enforce our intellectual property rights, negotiate contracts for sponsorship events, brand ambassadors, and advertising campaigns. You will handle employment-related issues, negotiate lease agreements, and respond to legal inquiries in coordination with external lawyers and conduct any litigation proceedings. You will ensure compliance with corporate policies in various areas of activity and provide regular training. Finally, you will interact with your colleagues in the Group’s subsidiaries abroad to play a significant role in major project aspects alongside a motivated and talented team of lawyers.Your workplace is in Biel and at least one day per week in Le Locle directly at the production site.Knowledge and SkillsYou are well familiar with commercial law, have a degree in law or an equivalent qualification, and possess several years of professional experience in a business law firm. You are comfortable with business projects and adept at managing complex contracts with partners in a dynamic environment. French or German as your native language and very good knowledge of the other language as well as English allows you to communicate fluently in French, English, and German. You enjoy your work and have a particular ability to recognize legal and business contexts easily, understanding opportunities and assessing risks effectively. You utilize your excellent legal knowledge and experience for the efficient review, analysis, drafting, and negotiation of contracts in various areas of law and proactively develop independent solutions. You demonstrate negotiation skills, perseverance, and determination. You know how to convey complex legal matters succinctly to management and ensure the smooth operation of the business. You are responsible, loyal, and resilient, distinguished by your flexibility and adaptability.
