You are a welding expert and enjoy keeping your hands on the field while coordinating a team?We are recruiting a Lead Welder for one of our clients.We are looking for an autonomous person, interested in technology and the metal construction sector. You understand production flows as a whole and propose solutions to optimize work. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with internal teams. Team management is necessary for this position. You have skills in manual welding and/or an IWS certification is an advantage.- Plan work and track priorities- Coordinate with the Assembly Manager and the Supervisor to ensure optimal flow of parts- Track allocated hour budgets, provide feedback to the Technical Office- Assign welders by project and by skills (MAG, 136 and 121 processes)- Test and support new welders, prepare their workstation, plates, and toolboxes- Perform MAG welds (136 and 138 processes) in accordance with current instructions and standards- Use the arc-air gouging process for any necessary touch-ups- Participate in handling and moving parts- Train and certify welders according to ISO standards- Prepare welding stations and equipment for site work- Manage consumables (filler metals, gas) and place necessary orders- Supervise equipment maintenance (welding stations, flux-cored carriages, Weldycar)- Ensure traceability of filler metals according to project execution class and manage welding procedure specifications (WPS/DMOS) and ensure compliance with ISO and EN standards- Perform visual inspection of welds- Coordinate non-destructive testing with the Quality Department (ultrasound, magnetic particle inspection, dye penetrant inspection, visual as well as geometric checks) and schedule external NDT interventions- Participate in continuous improvement: submit proposals for methods and equipment- Ensure compliance with safety protocols (PPE, PPHS) and management of permits (crane operators, electric stacker trucks, aerial work platforms) jid025ca78aen jit0627aen jpiy26aen
