Role and responsibilities: Academic Excellence & Teaching - Teach IB Diploma Economics and Business at Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL). - Team-teach classes and collaborate closely with colleagues to share best practices and develop departmental curriculum, ensuring clear progression is achieved for every student in your care. Assessment & Student Progress - Regularly assess the progress of students through diverse assessment methods. - Maintain records and report results clearly to parents and the Humanities department. - Maintain a genuine interest in student progress and well-being, ensuring a supportive learning environment. Contribution - Manage teaching resources efficiently to support an active participation in the wider life of the school, contributing to the vibrant community of La Châtaigneraie. What we are looking for: You will thrive in this role if you possess: - A university degree in Economics and/or Business Management - Significant experience teaching Economics and Business specifically to IB students - An up-to-date knowledge of current trends influencing the teaching of economics today. - Previous experience working within an international school environment. - The ability to work fluently in English; a good knowledge of French is a significant advantage.
