We are looking for a Laundress (M/F) who is meticulous, discreet and passionate about quality work to ensure the maintenance of linen within prestigious establishments. You will contribute to providing an impeccable experience to a demanding clientele by guaranteeing perfectly maintained and presented linen.

Your duties

• Ensure sorting, washing, drying, ironing and folding of linen according to established procedures.
• Identify different textile materials and apply appropriate maintenance methods to preserve their quality and durability.
• Check the quality of linen before it is put back into circulation.
• Carry out minor textile repairs (sewing, mending, button replacement, simple hemming).
• Manage stocks of linen, cleaning products and consumables.
• Organise the storage of clean linen and ensure efficient distribution to various departments.
• Comply with hygiene, safety standards and quality protocols specific to prestigious establishments.
• Identify and report damaged items or those requiring special treatment.
• Ensure the proper functioning of laundry equipment and report any anomalies.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace.

Profile sought

• Proven experience in laundry, linen service or high-end hospitality appreciated.
• Excellent mastery of washing, ironing and care techniques for delicate textiles.
• Mastery of textile materials (cotton, linen, wool, silk, cashmere, synthetic fibres and technical textiles) as well as care symbols.
• Ability to adapt washing, stain removal, drying and ironing processes according to the characteristics of each textile.
• Keen eye for detail and quality.
• Discretion, confidentiality and neat appearance.
• Organisation, autonomy and rigour.
• Speed of execution while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Ability to work in a team and manage priorities.
• Good physical condition and ability to work standing up.
