**Your -day to day-**
As a Laboratory Technician, you will Support in vitro toxicological assessment by applying well-defined scientific/technical methodologies and work procedures to assess the biological effects of Smoke Free Product (SFP) testing samples, including Heat-not Burn (HnB) and eVapor trapped aerosol fractions as well as Nicotine Pouch (NP) extracts. You will also ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and required Quality Management System (QMS) documentation timely prepared as per internal PMI standards, as well suggest improvements for methodologies, processes, products, systems, materials and/or equipment.
**More specifically, you'll**
* Perform laboratory tests to generate accurate data supporting routine tasks, special projects, methodologies development and/or proficiency studies.
* Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as per established procedures. Ensure equipment is qualified and, when required, validated and required documentation is prepared accordingly. Ensure availability of supplies for continuous laboratory operation.
* Draft, review and finalize QMS-related methodologies (WKI and FOR) or equipment-related (qualification and validation) documents.
* Collect, generate, and review data. Conduct knowledge management via data compilation, review, and storage in line with company, FDA or other accreditation authority requirements.
* Perform duties in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) principles, ISO 17025 standards and the respective PMI procedures, as required, and ensure that processes, documents, and activities meet the respective quality requirements. Act as QA specialist when required. When required, author work instructions and train colleagues. Adhere to all EHS rules, policies, and procedures.
* Carry out all activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood and apply adequate processes to ensure the confidentiality of information.
**Who we-re looking for**

* CFC or BSc Degree in biological science, or equivalent experience and skills.
* Experience in BLS-2 laboratory.
* Experience with GLP and ISO 17025 quality standards.
* Good MS Office skills and experience with LIMS.
* Analytical and systematic thinking skills, as well as organizational skills.
* Efficiency in prioritizing multiple / diverse activities, and in delivering to timelines.
* Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.
