Your mission:

• Carry out metallographic analyses and mechanical tests on various metallic materials
• Perform hardness tests in accordance with current standards and procedures
• Conduct tensile tests and interpret the results to verify the mechanical properties of materials
• Prepare samples (cutting, embedding, polishing, chemical etching)
• Carry out compliance checks according to customer specifications and applicable standards
• Analyse, interpret and document test results in laboratory reports
• Participate in investigations in case of non-compliance or material failure
• Ensure first-level maintenance and metrological monitoring of laboratory equipment
• Collaborate with production and quality teams for continuous improvement of processes and products
• Adhere to safety procedures and good laboratory practices

Your professional skills:

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as laboratory technician, ES technician, BTS/DUT, or equivalent training in materials, metallurgy or chemistry
• Experience in a metallurgical laboratory or similar industrial environment
• Knowledge of metallography, mechanical testing and material analysis techniques
• Proficiency in common computer tools (MS Office)
• Fluency in French (German and/or English would be an advantage)
