You strengthen laboratory data foundations by connecting scientific instruments and systems into scalable, well-documented data pipelines in a research environment.

Tasks

• Translate laboratory functional requirements into scalable technical data solutions
• Connect new and existing lab instruments to LIMS, robotics and automation platforms
• Implement customizations to lab digital platforms for efficiency and traceability
• Identify ways to increase the value of lab data through data integration and warehousing
• Support testing, deployment and continuous improvement of lab data solutions

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or computational discipline, or equivalent experience
• Solid experience in applying data engineering to scientific or laboratory data
• Experience with LIMS customization, data models and instrument integration
• Programming skills in Python, R, Java or Groovy
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Airflow and dbt, APIs, SQL/NoSQL
• Fluent spoken and written English
