On behalf of our client, an architectural and real estate project management firm based in Geneva and active throughout French-speaking Switzerland, we are seeking a Junior Site Manager for a permanent full-time position. Integrated into a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in the monitoring of various projects in the fields of energy renovation, industrial buildings, retail, offices, and interior design. You will benefit from close support by a Senior Site Manager to progressively develop your autonomy and skills in the specifics of the Swiss market. Desired start date between early and late September 2026, with flexibility depending on availability.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the monitoring and coordination of construction and renovation sites
- Participate in the preparation and pre-execution phases of projects
- Prepare bids and tenders
- Carry out measurements and participate in budget estimates
- Contribute to the establishment of site schedules
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor the progress of works
- Coordinate the various stakeholders and ensure compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality
- Participate in the administrative and financial monitoring of sites
- Consult and utilise the technical plans necessary for the proper execution of projects
We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:
- Higher education in civil engineering, construction, architecture, or equivalent field
- Initial professional experience in the construction sector or site supervision
- At least 1 year of experience in Switzerland preferred
- Good understanding of construction processes and the specifics of the Swiss market
- Ability to prepare bids, measurements, and cost estimates
- Knowledge of the different phases of a construction project
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel
- Familiarity with technical plans and software such as ArchiCAD
- Knowledge of Messerli software is an advantage
- Motivated, rigorous personality eager to develop in site management
- Team spirit, organisational skills, and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
