To strengthen the IT team of one of our clients based in Montreux, we are looking for a
IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
You will provide level 1 and 2 support with a good command of infrastructure environments, workstations, hardware, and business applications.
Your role will be to ensure the operation of the IT fleet and the best service to users in line with the strategic direction and governance defined by our client.
Responsibilities:
- Provide level 1 and 2 IT support: workstations, printers, peripherals, smartphones, tablets, meeting rooms.
- Provide hardware support: laptops, desktops, screens, docking stations, printers, scanners, USB peripherals, mobile phones, meeting equipment, basic cabling and hardware diagnostics.
- Support specific business applications.
- Installation, replacement, preparation and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
- Manage the hardware lifecycle: receipt, inventory, allocation, replacement, return, warranty tracking and supplier coordination.
- Manage accounts, groups, access, MFA and user rights.
Profile sought:
- Holder of a degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position.
- Good command of Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments, Modern Desktop / Modern Workplace.
- Good command of Azure AD / Entra ID, ideally in a hybrid environment with local Active Directory.
- Solid knowledge of infrastructure: network, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, AD, GPO, shares, NTFS permissions.
- Good diagnostic methodology, incident tracking and documentation.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
- Sensitivity to ITIL best practices, IT security and access management.
- English: minimum B2 level.
- Good communicator, attentive, user-oriented, stress-resistant.
- Organisational skills, autonomous and able to make decisions.
