Intern in Law at the Department of Municipal Affairs and Political Rights Job Description As an intern within the General Directorate of Institutional Affairs and Political Rights, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the mechanisms between the different institutional levels of the Canton. Utilizing the theoretical knowledge acquired during your studies, you will have the chance to participate in tasks related to municipalities and the management of political rights. Responsibilities Provide legal support and assistance to the Department of Municipal Affairs and Political Rights in monitoring the legality of municipal acts (regulations, intermunicipal agreements, etc.). Prepare draft responses to legal and institutional questions from municipal authorities. Support during federal, cantonal, and municipal elections and follow up on initiatives and referendums. Create a legal reference framework specific to the activities of the department and draft articles for the online journal. Completed or in-progress Master’s degree in law. Strong interest in municipal, cantonal, and federal political issues. Analytical, synthesis, and capability to manage complex subjects. Good writing skills. Rigor, autonomy, initiative, and discretion. Internship duration of 6 to 12 months at 100%, paid between CHF 840.- and CHF ,.- depending on the level of education (ongoing or completed). WHO ARE WE?
