With a strong family identity, we foster autonomy and in an environment of integrating our Methods team and the company PX Précimet SA, we are looking for a Process / Metallurgy Engineer.Your Impact:- Reduce waste and rework- Stabilize product quality- Increase process efficiency- Reduce costs related to quality issues- Constantly improve production methods- Analyze current processes to find opportunities- Implement actions to make the process more stable and reliable- Identify and reduce non-conformities by seeking the root causes of problems- Follow control plans and quality- Lead projects using methods such as Six Sigma- Standardize and document good practices so that everyone follows the same rules- Provide technical support in case of production problems- Participate in projects or the launch of new productsYou make the difference if:- You are a graduate of an engineering school (EPFL or equivalent) in metallurgy or process engineering- You have complementary training in Six Sigma (ideally)- You have good knowledge of metallurgy (defects, microstructures, treatment properties)- You master problem-solving and continuous improvement methods (DMAIC, 8D, AMDEC/FMEA)- You know how to use tools (SPC, Cp/Cpk, Minitab appreciated)- You have a strong field presence and a spirit- You are analytical, rigorous, and structured- You know how to convince and motivate teams- You are autonomous, while being a good team player with a focus on results- You speak French fluently and have a good level of EnglishThe next steps:- If your profile matches our advertisement, please send a CV and a cover letter.
