Infrastructure & Utilities Engineer (Small Equipment)Temporary mission - approx. 12 months leaveVisp (Valais) - Full-time, onsiteYour roleAs an Infrastructure & Utilities Engineer, you ensure the reliable availability, and lifecycle management of small equipment across the facility, in full compliance with GMP standards. You provide direct technical support to manufacturing and contribute to business responsibilities.- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of small equipment in line with defined quality and preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.- Monitor equipment performance KPIs and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and lifecycle.- Act as the Subject Expert (SME) for small equipment within CAPEX projects.- Provide technical input throughout design, selection, procurement, commissioning, and qualification.- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure proper and GMP compliant operation.- Monitor equipment, identify and troubleshoot issues.- Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).- Recommend process improvements, system upgrades, and ensure full compliance with GMP, safety requirements, and internal quality standards.- Execute GMP documentation according to procedures and standards.- Create, review, and maintain GMP documentation (SOPs, work instructions, technical reports).- Prepare/review quality records including change controls, CAPAs, and deviations.- Represent the unit during internal/external audits, inspections, and customer visits; ensure audit readiness and address findings.- Support departmental objectives, proactively flag issues, and ensure timely communication across teams.- Work in accordance with Safety, Health and Environmental policies; proactively identify risks and support SHE improvement initiatives.- Participate in continuous improvement programs (Lean, operational excellence) and support training by sharing equipment/system expertise.- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, new technologies, and regulations.Your profile- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering/technical field (ideally pharma/biotech manufacturing).- Strong GMP knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance and quality systems.- Experience with deviation management, CAPA, troubleshooting capability and structured problem-solving (RCA).- Experience contributing to CAPEX projects and equipment lifecycle activities (from design to qualification).- Fluent in German and English (professional level) required.- Availability: full-time in Visp; temporary assignment (~1 year) as leave cover. jid81ca500aen jit0624aen jpiy26aen
