HR Business Partner
Main Purpose of the Role: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for ensuring adherence to company standards and managing the employee experience throughout the entire employee life cycle. For all employees working in the Ticino region, the HRBP guarantees a consistent employee experience based on respect and equality, supporting the organization’s objectives and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Area of Responsibility:
- HR Partnering: The HRBP collaborates with people managers to understand business needs and objectives, translating them into actionable support executed by the line manager (in Italian).
- Recruiting and Onboarding: The HRBP is responsible for active resource management, advising people managers to fill open positions with candidates who align with the company culture, while also contributing to the development of the company.
- Training Facilitation: Initiates and facilitates leadership and management training programs.
- Guidance and Support: Provides guidance to resolve conflicts and maintain positive working relationships.
- Change Management: Actively supports the organization during periods of change.
- Offboarding: Supports the offboarding process, leading and documenting exit interviews, and finalizing reference letters.
- HR Administration: Ensures HR administration for all tasks within the region, including preparing employment references, administrative support for recruitment processes, and preparing various HR statistics.
- Cross-Regional Support: Acts as a deputy within the HR team, providing support across regional boundaries.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of HR expertise, with solid experience in HR administration, ideally in an international environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles and practices, Swiss labor law, and a diploma as a certified HR assistant and/or HR specialist (or equivalent education).
- A minimum of 2 years of HR partnering experience with different levels of an organization.

- High affinity for working with HR systems.
- A hands-on mentality and a proactive approach in a rapidly changing environment.
- Quick comprehension with a structured and efficient work style.
- Proficiency in Italian and a good command of English (for internal communication with HR peers). Knowledge of other languages, particularly German and French, is an asset.
- Available to occasional travels to German-speaking Switzerland as needed.
