Job Description

As an HR Assistant, you ensure HR activities on administrative, logistical and operational levels, particularly for the entities you are responsible for.
Within a department that uniquely brings together a wide range of different professions and benefiting from delegated authority for managing payroll and personnel data in the human resources information system, you fully and autonomously manage activities related to personnel administration of the DGE for the entities assigned to you.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the administrative management of Human Resources of the DGE for the assigned entities - approximately 160 employees.

  • Contribute to time and absence management for the personnel of the assigned entities.

  • Ensure post-payroll salary control and social insurance matters (reimbursement of SUVA daily allowances, APG etc.) for the entire DGE population.

  • Expand, consolidate and maintain the external and internal network of the department.

Qualifications

  • Business diploma or commercial employee CFC
  • HR Management Assistant certificate
  • Required equivalent experience in HR administrative management and general mastery of common administrative procedures
  • Knowledge of social insurances and legal bases in labour law
  • Proven aptitude for numbers
  • Accounting knowledge and understanding of cantonal administration operations, a plus
