As a Hotel Agent, you are involved at the heart of the daily care of patients and actively contribute to their comfort and well-being.
Your duties revolve around several essential areas:
- Patient catering and nutrition: taking orders, serving meals, snacks and drinks, monitoring and quantifying food and fluid intake, respecting specific diets.
- Hygiene and food safety: managing and storing foodstuffs, maintaining equipment, cleaning and washing kitchen utensils, strict application of current hygiene standards.
- Hotel duties: maintaining the patient’s immediate environment, checking the proper functioning of equipment and contributing to a clean, safe and pleasant setting.
- Unit logistics: organising orders, managing and ordering linen, participating in the smooth daily running of the service.
Through your sense of service and caring attitude, you help maintain a reassuring and humane environment, working closely with nursing teams and other professionals in the establishment. We are looking for a reliable, committed and service-oriented person with the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in a nursing home or hospital environment highly recommended
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility and strict respect for confidentiality
- Organisation, team spirit and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy, kindness and good interpersonal skills with patients
- Strong interest in catering and/or the hotel sector
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sense of service
- Initiative and adaptability
Skills and qualifications:
- Minimum AFP diploma required
- Very good command of spoken and written French (level C1 to be demonstrated)
- Comfortable using computer tools
- Sensitivity or experience in the hotel and/or care sector
Mandatory conditions:
- Criminal record less than 3 months old (standard and S)
- Immunity certificate and medical certificate of good health
- Swiss or resident in Switzerland, B or C permit required
