On behalf of our client, we are looking for a
Heavy Vehicle Mechanic - Bus M/F at 100%
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in heavy vehicle mechanics (Minibus and Tourist Coach and Public Transport Bus) essential
- Valid category D driving licence essential
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as Electromechanic, Electrician or equivalent qualification with solid knowledge in electricity / electronics
- Good knowledge of public transport is an advantage
- Fluency in French (spoken and written), English is an advantage
- Autonomous, versatile, rigorous, flexible with good interpersonal and team skills
- Ability to reach the workplace from home within 30 minutes
- Routine and periodic maintenance of electric and thermal vehicles
- Fault diagnosis (electrical, electronic or mechanical)
- Inspection and adjustment of mechanical assemblies constituting the vehicles (pneumatic circuit, hydraulic, heating, air conditioning, tyres, etc.)
- Electro-technical and preventive repair on heavy vehicles / buses
- Preparation of visits for technical inspections
- Verification of technical documentation related to the vehicle
- Reading electrical diagrams
- Keeping the mechanical workshop clean and tidy
- Application of quality and safety procedures in force within the company
- Carrying out breakdown repairs as well as telephone on-call duties in the evening and at weekends
- Driving if necessary on an occasional basis in agreement with operations
