HES Assistant (3-year fixed-term contract)Your activity- Actively participate in applied research projects in optics, industrial vision, and metrology, particularly for the development of innovative solutions dedicated to quality control and next-generation sensors.- Supervise students during practical work and Bachelor's projects.- Contribute to the influence of the research group and the HE-Arc through the organization of seminars and the writing of publications.- Provide support for metrology service activities, including microscopy, use of three-dimensional measuring machines, and X-ray inspection.Profile- HES Bachelor's or Master's degree (HES or EPF) in microtechnology, industrial systems, or industrial engineering and management.- Solid knowledge of sensors, applied optics, and metrology.- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C++, C#, or LabVIEW.- Knowledge of optical design and simulation constitutes an asset.- Experience in the development of industrial vision systems (cameras, lighting, optics, and vision software) is desired.- Mastery of one or more industrial vision libraries, such as MIL, Design Assistant, Cognex, NI Vision Builder for Inspection (VBAI), or OpenCV, is a plus.- Ease in technical writing.- Mastery of French and good knowledge of English.- Team spirit, autonomy, and a marked interest in contact with industrial partners.Activity rate: %Place of activity: St-ImierApplication deadline: August 3Start date: October 1 or by agreementThis position is open to all personnel without distinction.
