Tasks

  • Lead and support a team of engineers and technicians, fostering mentorship, motivation, and professional development
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes from concept to production handover, ensuring quality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate closely with product development, materials engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering to translate requirements into robust and efficient processes
  • Use data analytics and statistical process control to guide decisions and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement a process technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market needs

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in process engineering, including at least 4 years in a leadership or team management role
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, high-performing engineering teams
  • Significant experience defining high-volume hardware manufacturing processes, including automation of assembly, gluing, and optical inspection
  • Expertise in DFM, FMEA, Gage R&R, DOE, SPC, CPK, and related statistical modelling techniques, with a proven record of applying them to improve processes
  • Experience in cleanroom environments is a plus
  • Strong collaboration, strategic thinking, and planning skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical topics clearly
  • Business fluency in English; German is an advantage
