Market Development Manager for the Middle East and Cultural AffairsGeneral Mission Develop the commercial and institutional presence of the company in the Middle Eastern markets, with a particular focus on Lebanon and Gulf countries, while overseeing artistic projects and ornamental art objects. The position combines business development, project management, artistic sensitivity, understanding of cultural techniques, and offerings aimed at the region. Main Responsibilities Develop and structure the company’s commercial activities in the Middle East, particularly in Lebanon and Gulf countries. Identify, approach, and maintain relationships with clients, collectors, partners, galleries, institutions, architects, specifiers, and regional intermediaries. Ensure active monitoring of commercial, artistic, and institutional opportunities in the region. Participate in defining and implementing the regional development strategy. Adapt commercial materials, visual supports, and content to the cultural and linguistic sensitivities of the targeted markets. Prepare and conduct professional exchanges in Arabic, French, and English with regional interlocutors. Represent the company during meetings, fairs, exhibitions, private events, and institutional encounters related to the Middle East area. Coordinate the follow-up of prospects and regional partners, from initial contact to project completion. Participate in the management of art objects, pieces, and ornamental elements, in collaboration with artisans, manufacturers, and suppliers. Ensure aesthetic and technical follow-up of projects from the design phase to final delivery. Contribute to the development of projects involving paintings, sculptures, and artistic objects, ensuring liaison between the company, specialists, and stakeholders, with a particular sensitivity to finishes, techniques, and requirements specific to art and collectible items. Act as an interface between the Geneva management and regional interlocutors to facilitate understanding of local usage and cultural codes. Contribute to the development of cross-border cultural and commercial initiatives in the fields of art, design, luxury, and high-value aesthetic objects. Qualifications Excellent knowledge of the markets, networks, and cultural codes of the Middle East, particularly of Lebanon. Professional proficiency in Arabic, French, and English, both spoken and written. A background related to design, visual arts, art history, applied arts, cultural marketing, or project management, with knowledge in paintings, sculptures, and art objects. Experience or concrete understanding of the management of art objects, furniture, ornamental pieces, or custom artistic elements. Confirmed sensitivity to artistic processes, finishes, and aesthetic requirements specific to artistic endeavors, and the ability to operate in an environment combining commercial development, brand image, visual arts, and institutional relations. Comfort in a role that requires autonomy, rigor, and the ability to manage multiple interlocutors and projects simultaneously.
