Job Description

To respond to the increase in the number of mandates entrusted to the service and within the framework of the new organisation of the Administrative and Financial Support (AFS), we are looking for a person to lead a unit providing services related to the insurance of persons under guardianship.

In this capacity as Head of the Insurance Unit, within the Administrative and Financial Support of the service (AFS), you will lead around ten employees and actively support professional guardians and curators in their adult or child protection mandates.

Responsibilities

* Ensure the operational management of Unit 2 in the Insurance Services sector
* Supervise, support and assist the unit’s employees
* Organise, coordinate and oversee activities related to the management of insurance for persons under guardianship.
* Guarantee health insurance coverage and handle complex situations regarding social insurance.
* Monitor the payment and reimbursement process of medical and accident invoices.
* Provide expertise and advice to professional curators and guardians as well as to the service’s management.
* Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

* Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification.
* Federal diploma as a generalist in social insurance.
* Training and 3 years’ experience in team management.
* 6 years’ professional experience in health insurance or social insurance.
* In-depth knowledge of health and social insurance.
* Analytical skills, sense of responsibility and ability to collaborate with multiple partners.
* Administrative rigour, organisational skills, respect for deadlines and procedures.
* Proactivity and solution-oriented approach.

Disclosure of any criminal record and an extract from the Debt Collection Office are required for this position.

The Professional Guardianship and Curatorship Service (PGCS) is tasked with executing adult and child protection mandates issued by the justices of the peace for vulnerable persons who require complex social, legal, financial and administrative support that cannot be provided by private guardians or curators.
