Head of the Digital Health and Monitoring Department Job Description As the head of the Digital Health and Monitoring Department, you will lead the department and participate in the management of the General Directorate of Health. Responsibilities Propose a vision and objectives for the entity in the fields of digital health, systems, and health monitoring in connection with the General Directorate of Health. Manage the human and financial resources of the Digital Health Department by defining processes, specifications, and work rules, while ensuring standards and resources. Direct and plan the management of special files and the conduct of expertise or specific missions on behalf of the General Directorate of Health. Promote and implement the necessary measures for the execution of digital health policies, support for digital technologies in the health field, strengthening the capacity for management and monitoring in the health domain. Negotiate and consolidate the necessary elements for the execution of the department with various stakeholders in the health, social, and digital sectors. Write in a field related to health and/or digital or a deemed equivalent title, ideally completed with in-depth knowledge in complementary health, data sciences, empirical analysis, or scientific research and management. Experience in management with team leadership and decision-making support for at least 10 years, including experience with multiple partners and with federations for at least 5 years. Very good knowledge of the system X and Vaud. Sensitivity to asserting oneself with partners with diverse interests. Methodology and scientific research. Teaching skills, knowledge transfer, for systems and e-health. Global vision, sense of responsibility, and ethics of public service. Listening capabilities and spirit of cooperation, flexibility, and time management. Good knowledge of German and English.
