Join an invested team within the Directorate of Professional Integration and Placement (DIPP).At the heart of the cantonal placement and integration system, the DIPP supports the Regional Employment Offices (ORP) in the accomplishment of their missions by providing them with tools, methods, and services adapted to the needs of the labor market and to people looking for a job.As Head of the Counseling and Integration Unit, you contribute directly to the implementation of the cantonal placement and professional integration policy. You lead a team of experts in labor market measures, support the professional development of ORP staff, and participate in the development of innovative solutions aimed at sustainably strengthening the employability of job seekers.For more information, please consult the job description by clicking here.Responsibilities- Ensure the management, coordination, and development of the cantonal offer of labor market measures (MMT), and professional integration measures (MIP);- Analyze and evaluate new MMT offers that reach the DIPP, and develop those you identify as necessary;- Actively monitor developments in skills needs in the labor market and respond to them by developing programs that will serve to improve the employability of people registered with the ORP;- Support your specialists and the finance unit of the DGEM in the monitoring of budgets and measures;- Direct the Counseling and Integration Unit and ensure the management of its activities and resources;- Provide the ORP with tools, methods, and services favoring the support of registered persons, their placement, and their professional integration;- Develop and coordinate the continuing education of ORP staff in order to guarantee harmonized and quality practices;- Lead projects and transversal mandates in connection with the missions of the DIPP;- Collaborate actively within the projects of the other two DIPP units;- Contribute to the management of the DIPP as deputy to the director;- Periodically represent the DIPP before cantonal, intercantonal, and federal partners;- Represent the DIPP before cantonal, intercantonal, and academic partners.Profile- University degree or equivalent qualification in a field related to the position.- Confirmed experience in team leadership and change management.- Proven experience in managing complex projects and knowledge of the Vaud labor market and its actors.- Political sensitivity and understanding of institutional issues.- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and decision-making support skills.- Recognized leadership, ease of communication, and ability to unite around common objectives.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; mastery of written and spoken French; knowledge of German is an asset.Who are we?Within the Directorate General for Employment and the Labor Market (DGEM), we support and assist local employment actors.Ensuring the surveillance of the labor market by protecting workers, preventing undeclared work, and ensuring the implementation of accompanying measures for the free movement of persons (ALCP) is part of our missions.
