Job Description
Biolid Switzerland, a 100% subsidiary of CVE Biogaz, specialises in the management and valorisation of organic materials (agricultural coproducts, industrial and biowaste). It acts as an intermediary between organic material producers and methanisation units, to transform these flows into renewable energy (biomethane) and fertilisers.
In a context of strong biomethane growth, traceability and sustainability of the materials used have become major issues, governed by strict European regulations (European RED directive) which require full traceability of organic materials, demonstration of their sustainability and documentary and regulatory compliance at every stage.
Within this framework, Biolid is recruiting a Head of Compliance & Flow Performance Division who is responsible for the regulatory compliance of organic material flows, while overseeing the administration of operational exchanges in the agricultural sector (purchases/sales). You will manage a dedicated team (administration and compliance) and work closely with commercial, technical, accounting teams and external partners. Your responsibilities will include:
1. General:
- Implement and maintain the management system for the creation and administration of inputs.
- Oversee costs inherent to the Biogas Business Unit (overheads, legal expenses, operational charges, etc.)
- Manage a team responsible for the administration of sales/purchases of agricultural flows and compliance.
2. Guarantee of regulatory compliance of flows:
- Ensure regulatory monitoring of the RED directive and its developments (France and Europe) in connection with the RED Manager of CVE Biogaz.
- Operationally guarantee the compliance and traceability of materials used in biomethane production: Be the main reference, within the ADVA team, for commercial partners (internal & external) regarding the RED directive. Support and provide operational assistance to the RED Manager for the deployment and evolution of the sustainability data tracking system for biomass and biowaste inputs. Train and support operational teams on RED requirements and best practices. Collect, consolidate and verify sustainability data from methanisation plants and keep it up to date (Sanitary Approval Number…).
- Prepare and coordinate certification audits in collaboration with the RED Manager of CVE Biogaz and accredited bodies.
3. Supervision of the administration of sales/purchases of agricultural flows (Regener activity):
- Manage and monitor the Performance Indicators related to revenues and costs of Regener's administrative activity, ensuring their reliability and availability for economic management.
- Be responsible for the recovery related to downstream agricultural flows.
Qualifications
- Higher education in Renewable Energies, Quality, Phytosanitary or Environment
- Good knowledge of the European environmental regulatory framework for renewable energies, particularly RED directives.
- Technical understanding of methanisation, biomethane and their supply chains.
- Experience in audit, certification, data monitoring or document management.
- Experience in team management.
- Rigour, attention to detail, and ability to synthesise complex information.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders (technical, financial and institutional).
