We are looking for a highly motivated Head of Body Care Category - Global Marketing & 360° communication to join our Maison L'Occitane en Provence global brand team during a fixed-term contract !

Define and drive the Global Body Care strategy to elevate the Maison's desirability, strengthen emotional connection with Guests, and fuel business growth across all role leads the development of expert body care portfolio and associated 360° communication campaigns, blending heritage, innovation & sensorial expertise.

Main Responsibilities

Category Strategy & Development :

  • Define and implement the global body category strategy, aligned with brand vision, business objectives, and market opportunities.
  • Build strong connections with other categories to ensure complementarity, coherence, and reinforcement of the overall Maison strategy.
  • Partner closely with Global Commerce and local marketing teams to ensure the global strategy is relevant, actionable, and locally impactful. Constantly refine plans & priorities with their inputs.
  • Set bold 3-year ambitions for key moments, monitor results, and identify new growth opportunities to elevate the category's strategic influence within the Maison

Product Offer Management

  • Oversee the full product development cycle, ensuring products embody the Maison's standards of excellence and resonate with consumers' evolving expectations.
  • Supervise the creation of Launch Notes, ensuring accuracy, storytelling, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Partner with R&D, Creative Studio, and Operations to deliver sensorial, desirable, and high-performing products that express the Maison's craftsmanship and innovation spirit.
  • Define portfolio structure, pricing, and assortment strategies to ensure consistency and differentiation across markets, in collaboration with Revenue Growth Management team.

360° Campaign Leadership

  • Define strategy and messaging plan for each Body care campaign (Karité, Amande etc-)
  • Supervise toolboxes development ensuring consistency across all channels""retail, digital, social, PR, and media, and seamless execution locally, in collaboration with the Global Commerce.
  • Manage the body care campaigns budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.

Innovation & Insight

  • Monitor consumer trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
  • Champion innovation in formula, packaging, design, and storytelling to continuously elevate the Maison's expertise.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, inspire and develop a team of Brand Managers, fostering collective intelligence, curiosity, and agility.
  • Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and nurture each team member's growth and ownership
  • Guide and oversee individual career development to help each team member reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners (Creative, Purchasing, R&D, Supply, Finance, Commerce and local Markets) to ensure flawless coordination and time-to-market.

How you can fit :

  • 10+ years of experience in Brand, Category, or Product Management within luxury beauty, ideally with strong exposure to Asian markets. Local marketing experience is a plus.
  • Strong team management experience, collaborative, inspiring leader with a hands-on, solutions-driven attitude.
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to influence, engage and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple launches and priorities.
  • Strong understanding of 360° brand activations and the luxury communication ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate data and insights into actionable strategies
