The Monthey Swimming Club is looking for a head coach to continue the development of its artistic swimming section.

Locations: Monthey, Vouvry and St-Maurice, Switzerland

Start: to be agreed, ideally from the 2026 sports season

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of groups (children from 4 years old, youth and adults)
• Planning and structuring a complete sports season
• Creation of free and technical choreographies (solos, duets and teams)
• Technical, physical and mental preparation of athletes
• Preparation and support of athletes during regional, national and international competitions
• Coordination and support of the coaching team
• Participation in the development of the club's sports projects (camps, shows)
• Participation in the supervision of the swimming school

Profile sought:

• Willingness to take on a position of responsibility, involving the sports management of the section, coordination of coaches and collaboration with the committee
• Significant experience (minimum 10 years) in artistic swimming, either as an athlete or coachExperience in creating choreographies (solos, duets and teams)
• Experience in supervising several groups of different ages
• Skills in mental preparation of athletes (coaching, sports psychology or equivalent)
• Ability to integrate a holistic body approach (injury prevention, mobility, body awareness)
• Experience in supporting and transferring skills to other coachesAutonomy and organisational skills
• Fluency in spoken French (supervision of children from 4 years old)
• Availability in the evenings and at weekends
• Youth & Sport (J+S) certificate. Continuing education required by Youth+Sport must be followed to maintain this active recognition throughout the engagement.
• Valid rescue certificate: BLS/AED and Pool Base (minimum). Mandatory renewals, required every two years by the municipalities providing the facilities, must be regularly completed to maintain these certifications.
• Artistic swimming judge certificate or commitment to obtain it quickly, with the willingness to ensure the maintenance of the required qualifications according to the federation's requirements.
