The Hardware/Tools/Machines department offers tools, small and large machines, screws of all sizes and types, as well as construction and furniture fittings. It also includes everything needed on the theme of storage for living areas, the cellar and storage space, home security products, as well as a wide selection of workwear. The range is complemented by the "Profil Express" service (metal cutting).

Your main tasks:

• From welcoming to the customer’s departure, you will advise them with kindness and competence.
• You will place orders and ensure that your department is optimally stocked.
• You will be responsible for the attractive presentation of goods for the customer.
• You will also need to ensure that your workplace remains tidy and clean.

Your profile:

• You have acquired your technical knowledge through complete training or several years of experience as a do-it-yourself salesperson, locksmith, mechanic, ...
• You are a native French or German speaker. Good knowledge of the other language is an advantage.
• Some initial experience in sales and the habit of working during shop opening hours would be ideal.
• You appreciate direct contact with customers and, for you, friendliness remains a priority, even during busy periods.
• You enjoy selling BAUHAUS products and have a friendly and service-oriented attitude.
