For our client, an international non-profit structure, we're looking for an experienced, skillful Accountant to join a small and dynamic Finance team based in Geneva.

Description

The experienced Accountant is expected to handle the following :

- GL accounting : AP/AR according to internal policies, transactions booking. Intercompany transactions and reconciliations (bank transfers, invoice payments.)

- Closing and reporting : manage monthly and annual closing process, preparation of annual financial accounts with the Finance manager, preparation of management reportings.

- Audit : prepare and support the annual statutory audit process, ensure timely completion of all legal and regulatory filings. Yearly proactively review and update financial policies and procedures.

Profile

The succesful candidate should present the following :

- University degree in Accounting (or equivalent qualification), solid knowledge of accounting principles (Swiss GAAP; CO)
- 5+ years professional experience in a similar, autonomous accounting position

- English and French fluent

- Non-profit background is a plus, Business Central former use likewise.

The position is part of a small, dynamic team. It is meant to be autonomous, handling the full accounting cycle. This being said, curious, proactive, finance/IT enthusiasts are very expected.
