Specialized Case Manager in the Legal Department and the Employment ServiceIn your capacity as a specialized case manager in the legal department and the employment service, you will autonomously ensure the complete follow-up of specific cases in which the Vaud Cantonal Police (PCV) has the authority to issue invoices, from the receipt of the police report to any potential appeal by the person concerned. In parallel, you will assist program managers with tasks related to the management of the program aimed at establishing a new Vaud police school and provide support to services (taking minutes, organizing meetings, etc.).By joining the Vaud Cantonal Police, you contribute to a public service committed to the population, its safety, and the maintenance of social cohesion.Responsibilities- Proceed autonomously with in-depth analysis and management of specific cases (from receipt of the report to potential appeal).- Contact decision-making bodies to determine the criminal decision for each offender and for each case.- Determine the amount to be invoiced and ensure follow-up with the finance department.- Process and manage cases falling under the LFacManif, draft and ensure the follow-up of official documents and correspondence to authorities.- Prepare and format official documents for the General Secretariat of the Department, including: proposals to the Council of State, notes on general affairs, etc., using the specific software (SIEL).- Keep pivot tables for monitoring activity up to date and proceed with updates in case of requests.- Autonomously assume responsibility for the management of the service and keep databases related to the service up to date.- Assist program managers with tasks related to the management of the program.- Proactively participate in the continuous improvement of project management methods and tools.- Take minutes of meetings with external partners (notably with the Public Prosecutor's Office) and internal meetings (notably substitution for various reports, interviews in the context of disciplinary procedures, etc.).- Manage telephone reception and the email inbox of the legal department and the employment service.For more information, please consult the job description by clicking here.You will also find additional information on the activities of the PCV at:Profile- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) in commerce or equivalent title.- Internal experience in the Canton of Vaud is desired, particularly on the following software: SIEL, TARS, TARS II.- Perfect writing skills.- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, SAP, Word).- Respect and a keen sense of confidentiality.- Autonomy in making frequent follow-up decisions and managing time, organizational skills, and rigor.- Swiss nationality or holder of a valid residence permit.- Employment conditions require that you be free of debt collection proceedings or certificates of insolvency.- There is a right to verify the criminal record in accordance with the Federal Act on the Criminal Record by the hiring authority for this position.- Please send your complete file (in a single PDF file).WHO ARE WE?The Vaud Cantonal Police (POLCANT) works tirelessly to ensure public order and safety.
