An Investigation Case Manager at 100% - Permanent Contract

What you bring to our mission

Within the Investigation Unit of the Assistance Department, you actively contribute to respecting the principle of subsidiarity and the compliance of granted benefits.

Your role is to analyse, process, and decide on beneficiary cases involving sometimes complex administrative and financial issues. You operate in a demanding environment where rigour, discernment, and analytical skills are essential.

You participate in securing institutional decisions and handling sensitive situations, particularly regarding resource control and suspicion of abuse.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyse and process beneficiary cases to assess entitlement to benefits in compliance with the legal framework and the principle of subsidiarity

  • Examine financial documents (bank statements, social insurance certificates, tax documents, contracts, etc.)

  • Identify and handle particular or sensitive situations

  • Draft reasoned administrative decisions, correspondence, and analysis summaries

  • Conduct interviews with beneficiaries as part of processing complex cases

  • Ensure coordination with internal and external partners (social insurance, administrations, municipalities, etc.)

  • Contribute to statistical monitoring and management tools of the unit

Your profile

  • Commercial employee certificate (CFC) or equivalent qualification; additional training in social insurance or administrative law is an asset

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in analysing administrative cases, ideally related to social assistance, social insurance, or a similar field

  • Very good knowledge of social insurance and understanding of subsidiarity mechanisms

  • Ability to analyse complex situations and exercise critical thinking

  • Strong writing skills and ability to justify decisions in a structured manner

  • Rigour, reliability, sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a team

  • Proficiency in common office software
